The excellent bond between wear-resistant polyurethane and galvanized steel cords forms the basis of their high power output potential.

The highly flexible production process is particularly suitable for manufacturing double-sided timing belts. The casting process provides a high degree of accuracy.

CONTI® SYNCHROFLEX offers standard PU timing belt profiles including AT3, AT5, AT10, AT20, ATP10, ATP15, T2.5, T5, T10 and T20.

These timing belts can operate at low temperatures, in clean rooms and in food-industry applications.

CONTI® SYNCHROFLEX offers a large selection of standard PU timing belt profiles such as AT3, AT5, AT10, AT20, ATP10 and ATP15, as well as T2.5, T5, T10 and T20 timing belts. These belts allow operation at low temperatures, in clean rooms and in the food industry.

Production method

Endless timing belts can be manufactured in two different ways.

Synchroflex® SFX: Manufactured by ContiTech® through pressure casting in permanent moulds. These belts are available in standard belt lengths from 55 mm to 6000 mm.

Brecoflex® BFX: Manufactured by BRECO® as endless timing belts without a joint. Lengths up to approximately 22,000 mm can be produced without a joint.

BRECO M®: Manufactured in metre lengths and commonly used in linear units.

BRECO V®: Open timing belts assembled to special lengths according to the required dimensions. This design is commonly used as a conveyor belt drive.

Almost all timing belt types are available on request with alternative tensile-member options, including stainless-steel cord, Kevlar® or aramid cord, and high-performance flexible cord.
